24/7 Parking Monitor - Installation & Usage Guide
Round-the-Clock Protection for Your Parked Vehicle
Our parking monitor feature provides continuous surveillance even when your vehicle is parked and turned off, offering peace of mind wherever you park.
⚠️ Professional Installation Required
IMPORTANT: The parking monitor function requires professional installation to connect to your vehicle's ACC (Accessory) and ON power lines. This is NOT a plug-and-play feature.
What You Need to Know:
- Professional hardwiring installation is mandatory
- Technician must connect to vehicle's ACC and ON power circuits
- Improper installation may damage your vehicle's electrical system
- We recommend certified automotive electricians for installation
How Parking Monitor Works
Motion Detection Activation
The parking monitor activates automatically when it detects slight vibrations or movement around your vehicle, such as:
- Someone bumping into your car
- Door handle tampering attempts
- Minor collisions or impacts
- Suspicious activity near your vehicle
Note: The camera will NOT record continuously while parked. It only activates when motion/vibration is detected, helping to conserve battery power.
⚡ Battery Consumption Notice
Important Power Consideration:
The parking monitor feature draws power from your vehicle's battery even when the engine is off. Please be aware:
- ✓ Continuous monitoring will consume vehicle battery power
- ✓ Extended parking periods may drain your battery
- ✓ Most installations include low-voltage cutoff protection
- ✓ Recommended for vehicles driven regularly (at least every 2-3 days)
- ⚠️ Not recommended if you park for extended periods (weeks) without driving
Monitoring & Playback
Access Your Footage:
- View recorded parking incidents on your mobile device
- Review footage on your computer via our desktop software
- Receive notifications when motion is detected (app-dependent)
- Playback includes timestamp and GPS location data
Note: Parking monitor footage cannot be viewed on in-car displays. Mobile app or computer access is required.
Installation Checklist
- Find a Professional Installer - Locate a certified automotive electrician or dash cam installation specialist
- ACC & ON Line Connection - Installer will hardwire to your vehicle's power system
- Low-Voltage Cutoff Setup - Configure battery protection settings (typically 11.8V-12.2V)
- Test Activation - Verify motion detection triggers recording properly
- App Configuration - Set up mobile notifications and playback access
Best Practices
- Drive your vehicle regularly to maintain battery charge
- Set appropriate low-voltage cutoff to protect battery health
- Check SD card capacity regularly for sufficient storage
- Test the system periodically to ensure proper function
- Consider a battery health monitor if parking for extended periods
